Ghana’s music industry has seen massive transformation down the years but there’s still a lot to be fixed.
Now the bigger question is, who is and responsible for the fix?
Veteran and most celebrated music producer and engineer ‘’Hammer’’ of ‘’Last2 Entertainment’’ has added his voice throwing more light on how to fix our music industry.
Speaking to ‘’Papa Sey’’ the regular host of Radio Maxx 105.1 FM on the ‘’All Access Radio Show’’ an entertainment review show in Western Region Takoradi, the C.E.O of ‘’Last2 Entertainment’’ enlightened our knowledge on how to fix Ghana’s music industry.
’We need to meet with various Telecommunication companies to charge rates for downloading songs and intellectual projects of musicians on the internet. ’He said.
He believes when these measures are put in place money’s derived from these platforms goes directly into the pockets of these musicians and in the long run cutting down piracy in our music industry making it very lucrative to compete with the outside market.
