Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers fell to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50, but the Panthers weren’t the only ones feeling the agony of defeat. Dab enthusiasts Migos are apparently $75,000 lighter after placing a bet on the losing team.

“Damn Cam!!! #DabNewton great season tho!!” tweeted the group. “We took a lost too!! 75k.”

Out of all the rappers XXL asked to predict who would win the Super Bowl, only Hi-Tek correctly picked the Broncos to win. Cam’s outstanding season led him to becoming the biggest crossover star in the league this year. Bringing the Dab to the masses, Newton was supported by hip-hop artists and the quarterback’s popularity reached a fever pitch amongst hip-hop fans when Jeezy and Future showed up to support him at the NFC Championship game.

Following the Broncos win, rappers Rick Ross, Bun B, Freddie Gibbs and more offered their congratulations to Peyton Manning, who likely played in his final game and went out on top.

As is customary, the game itself played second fiddle to the halftime show and commercials and hip-hop was featured in a big way. At halftime, Bruno Mars channeled his inner MC Hammer by wearing thick gold chains, parachute pants and sunglasses while Beyonce showed why she is the queen with a performance of her new song, “Formation.”

Companies enlisted plenty of rappers to push their products as well. Lil Wayne starred in an Apartments.com commercial, Drake stole the show in his T-Mobile spotT-Pain popped up in Mini Car’s label defying ad and Missy Elliott debuted her new song “Pep Rally” during an Amazon commercial.

In the stands, Jay Z, Usher, Kendrick Lamar and Swizz Beats took in the game together in a luxury suite.
